The Guest Series with Sota Atsumi

We are excited to announce the return of The Guest Series this Autumn, in collaboration with The Macallan.

To celebrate Lyle’s turning 10, James and the team are welcoming back some of their favourite chefs who have cooked at Lyle’s over the last decade.

Kicking things off on Tuesday 3rd September is the brilliant Sota Atsumi from Maison in Paris. He rose to prominence during his time at Clown Bar with signature dishes like his pigeon pithivier and calf’s brain with ponzu, and wrote an outstanding menu for his last visit to Lyle’s in 2018.

Sota has since opened Maison, now with a larger team and a beautiful dining room, it has become a firm favourite with the Lyle’s team and a must visit when in Paris. His cooking is precise and gutsy, marrying ingredients like lamb with mussels and girolles, or a standout dish on a recent visit, new season onions with almonds, bay, and clams. We can’t wait to cook with him again and explore how his style has evolved.

Tickets include a seven course menu and a welcome drink from the Lyle's team – Paris Between The Wars: The Macallan Double Cask 12 Year Old, Campari, and British cider.

There will also be a limited wine list by the Maison sommelier, Yuga Okamura, featuring bottles and a pairing suggestion, available to choose on the night.
