THE GUEST SERIES

Wednesday 9th April

TicketsTickets

For the penultimate event of this Guest Series, in collaboration with The Macallan, we are thrilled to announce that James Henry will be cooking dinner at Lyle’s on Wednesday 9th April.

James was one of the first Guest Series chefs that cooked at Lyle’s, and it’s been a full ten years since he last joined us in 2015, back when he was the head chef at the wonderful Bones in Paris.

Since then James has worked tirelessly to open the incredible restaurant, guest house and regenerative farm that is Le Doyenné in Saint-Vrain, just south of Paris.

We are lucky that the first signs of spring have hit the gardens at Le Doyenné, so James will be bringing across some of his current favourites; early peas, purple broccoli, green asparagus as well as his house made Noire de Bigorre charcuterie.

The menu will be a 10-course journey through his favourite ingredients from the Doyenné garden as well as some of the best in Cornish day boat fish and Scottish shellfish.

To set the tone the evening will begin with a welcome cocktail from The Macallan: magnolia with smoked pork fat-washed Double Cask 12YO.

The menu is £139pp and a wine pairing will be available on the night.

Ticket price is £139 for the set menu. Please note drinks and service are not included, and we are unable to accommodate dietary requirements due to the one-off nature of the event.

About

Hosted by Lyle’s restaurant in Shoreditch, London, The Guest Series is a way to showcase some of the most talented chefs from around the world. Each dinner will feature a different chef that we highly respect and think is doing incredible things.

For us, this is a way to learn and progress. “I believe that a restaurant should never stand still. We are looking to constantly evolve. The guest series gives us an opportunity to see British produce in a new light,” explains James Lowe, head chef at Lyle’s.

Whilst we are a British restaurant that celebrates British produce, The Guest Series gives us and our diners a chance to see what’s going on elsewhere – bringing the opportunity to experience some of the world’s best restaurants, without the airplane fare.
