Lunch with Felix Nash of Fine Cider
London’s faithful summer ciders are enjoying something of a renaissance at the moment. There are a growing number of excellent small producers that are making fantastic ciders and perry changing the perception of cider being overly sweet and mass produced.
Felix Nash, cider pioneer and owner of Fine Cider company, has been working hard at getting cider accepted as a suitable drink at restaurants. The ciders he brings in to London can currently be found at Bao, St. John, Fera, The Marksman and Lyle’s.
Felix works with some of the best cider makers on the planet and for this lunch at Lyle's on Wednesday 14th June he will present some of their best bottles, paired with James’ food. As we’ll be in full swing of Spring season, expect to see lots of green on the menu along with forgotten British fruits from our favourite pick-your-own family farm, Maynards, in East Sussex.
Tickets are £35 for a set menu with cider pairing.
